Consideration: Help Shoppers Understand Truemed

Once shoppers know you accept HSA/FSA, they need a place to learn how it works, whether they qualify, and what the checkout process looks like. A dedicated landing page with an FAQ section answers those questions and gives you one URL to drive traffic from ads, emails, and site navigation.

Start with the landing page, then build the FAQ directly into it.

Create an HSA/FSA Landing Page

Your landing page is where qualified shoppers go to understand how Truemed works and how to confidently pay with their HSA/FSA funds. We provide Figma templates with pre-built sections for hero, how-it-works, eligible products, and FAQ, so you can get a page live in a few hours.

Helix Sleep’s landing page is a strong reference. It leads with a savings headline, highlights the buyer journey with a quick video, explains the checkout process in four simple steps, showcases eligible products, and includes an FAQ at the bottom.

Pick Your Template

Choose the Figma template that matches your integration and swap in your brand assets and copy.

Customize Each Section

Each template covers four sections. Here is what to focus on when adapting them for your brand:

  • Hero: Lead with a clear headline that includes “HSA/FSA” and tells shoppers they may save on eligible products through your partnership with Truemed. Keep it to one headline, one subhead, and one CTA.
  • How it works: Walk shoppers through the Truemed checkout flow step by step. This section should cover four steps: add to cart, select “Pay with HSA/FSA,” complete a clinical intake form, and complete payment.
  • Eligible products: Showcase your top eligible products or link to your HSA/FSA collection. Include pricing so shoppers can estimate their savings.
  • FAQ: Cover the five to seven most common questions. See the FAQ section below for copy-ready examples.

Partner Examples

See how other Truemed merchants have built their landing pages. Each takes a different approach depending on their product category and integration type.

Your landing page should rank for queries like “[your brand] HSA/FSA.” A few basics go a long way:

URL: Keep it short and include “hsa-fsa” in the slug. Example: yourbrand.com/pages/hsa-fsa-eligible

Title tag: Under 60 characters with your target keyword. Example: “[Brand] HSA/FSA Eligible Products”

Meta description: Under 160 characters that answer the main question. Example: “Shop HSA/FSA-eligible [product category] at [Brand]. Complete a clinical intake form with Truemed, then pay pre-tax and save an average of 30%.”

Above the fold: Your H1 should include “HSA/FSA” and appear before the scroll. Pair it with a one-line subhead that tells shoppers what to expect.

How to Implement

  1. Choose the Figma template that matches your integration type.
  2. Swap in your brand assets, product images, and copy.
  3. Build the page in your CMS or have your developer implement it.
  4. Set the URL slug to include “hsa-fsa” for SEO.
  5. Add the compliance disclaimer (see Compliance below).
  6. Link to the page from your top navigation, footer, homepage banners, email footers, and paid ad destinations. (If you completed the Discovery stage, your nav links are already in place.)

Adding a line like “HSA/FSA payments powered by Truemed” near the bottom of your page builds shopper trust and improves search authority through the backlink.

Add an FAQ Section to Your Landing Page

An FAQ section built into your landing page preempts the most common HSA/FSA questions, reduces support tickets, and improves search visibility.

Start with five to seven questions, then add more as your support team identifies patterns. Below are copy-ready examples you can customize with your brand name and product details.

Sample FAQ Copy

“What is HSA/FSA and can I use it here?”
HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) are pre-tax health benefit accounts that may be used to purchase eligible health products. [Brand] has partnered with Truemed to enable qualified customers to use their HSA/FSA funds on eligible purchases. Eligibility depends on individual circumstances and is determined by an independent licensed practitioner through a clinical intake form at checkout.

“How do I pay with my HSA/FSA at [Brand]?”
Add eligible products to your cart and proceed to checkout. Select “Pay with Truemed” as your payment method, then complete a clinical intake form. If the practitioner determines medical necessity, a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) is issued and your HSA/FSA payment is processed.

“Which [Brand] products are eligible?”
View our full list of eligible products on our HSA/FSA Product Collection Page [you will need to link to this page]. Truemed determines which products qualify based on IRS guidelines, so this list may change over time.

“What if I’m not approved?” If the practitioner does not determine medical necessity, you can complete your purchase with a standard payment method or reapply at a later date.

“Can I split payment between HSA/FSA and a credit card?” Yes. If your HSA/FSA balance does not cover the full purchase amount, you can pay the remainder with a credit or debit card during checkout.

Copy-ready versions of these FAQs are also available in the Figma templates.

Add brand-specific questions as you identify patterns from customer support (e.g., “Does your return policy still apply to HSA/FSA orders?”).

Compliance Reminder

All HSA/FSA messaging on your landing page must include the following disclaimer:
